I get a lot of questions from people on how to care for their hand stamped sterling jewelry.
With sterling silver, the more you wear it, the less it will tarnish. This has to do with the rubbing it encounters against your skin, clothing, etc. while wearing it. When you take your jewelry off and leave it out in the air somewhere, that is when the tarnish starts to attack.
The best way to fight tarnish is prevention. I personally wear my charms and bracelets 24x7 — in the shower, to bed, when I go swimming. Whenever I notice one of my charms is looking less shiny than usual, I pull out my polishing pads and give the charms a good rub. Voila! Good as new.
All our orders come with a polishing pad for your polishing pleasure ( and you can purchase more here). There is more info on how to care for your jewelry on my site.
Oh and here is a video I whipped out that shows how to use the polishing pad.
Happy polishing!
