Description
We take your favorite photo and turn it into a truly meaningful and unique keepsake. Your photo is transformed into a silhouette is then etched into the surface of the sterling silver charm. We then send it through our special cleaning and polishing processes, oxidize it and polish the charm again before adding it to the sterling silver key ring.
You send us your photo and we will do the rest! Our artists carefully extract the subjects from the image, removing the background. This can be painstaking, detailed work, but the attention to detail makes for the best silhouette! Then, we convert the image to make the subjects solid black on a white background.

Please note that some photos work better than others. If you have multiple people (or animals) in your photo, having some space between them helps the eye to see the shape better. Feet and arms should not be cut off in the photo for the best result. Please see our examples and ideas for poses that work well on this jewelry.
Every order comes with one polishing pad and free optional gift card with message.
Photos that make the best silhouettes: The silhouette will capture the outline of your subject. Ideally, your subject will be standing at your level, against a fairly uniform background. Having arms or legs a little away from the body will make for a silhouette that captures the subject's distinct outline. If you're not sure which image would work best, just ask us. We're here to help!
